Morgan
Electro Ceramics are world leaders in the design and manufacture
of piezoelectric ceramic components. Our factory on the South
Coast of the UK has both extensive manufacturing capability as and
onsite transducer design and test facilities. We are seeking to
recruit for the following positions.
Senior Transducer Design Engineer
We require an experienced design engineer with a proven track record of designing and testing ultrasonic sensors & transducers. Previous experience may have been gained with
an ultrasound component supplier, OEM or Academic establishment. Good analytical skills and an academic technical qualification are considered essential. You will lead our established transducer design team and ensure the team delivers innovative technical solutions within agreed time and budget constraints. You will probably have previous experience of direct customer
contact and an ability to demonstrate technical competence to a range of audiences. A personality to develop relationships
with key industry contacts and suppliers of services and technology is considered a key quality of a successful candidate.
Process Engineer
We require a process engineer to develop and implement new processing methods and products. This will involve tooling and equipment, training and establishing quality standards. The position will also contain a CI element, monitoring and improving gross margin through productivity and quality improvements. You will probably have experience of manufacturing gained from at least 2 years in a medium volume manufacturing environment, and have a suitable technical qualification. The successful candidate will have self motivation combined with a strong team spirit, interpersonal and communication skills are considered essential, foreign language skills are considered beneficial but not essential as some international travel will be required.
