MTC ElectroCeramics offers stacked transducers (also known as langevin or tonpilz transducers) for dental use, custom designed to precisely match customer requirements and electronic generator equipment.
Dental Ultrasonic Transducers
- Operating frequency: in range 20 - 80 kHz. (30 KHz is typical for dental transducers)
- Power: up to 200W
- Displacement: 10 - 20μm
MTC ElectroCeramics can customise transducers to meet a variety of handpiece and generator configurations. Higher power, displacement and alternative operating frequencies can also be supplied.
Typical Dental Ultrasonic Transducer applications include:
- descaling (scaling),
- drilling
- tissue cutting, coagulation and ablation
