Flow Sensors for In Line Sensing

MTC Electroceramics has extensive knowledge of non-invasive ultrasound flow measurement for use with intravenous pumps measuring most liquids including saline, buffer solutions, blood and water.

Flow Sensor Applications

Sensors can be designed for use with various medical tubing types and sizes. Sensors can be standard time of flight differential or X illumination for increased accuracy. This configuration can also be used for the detection of bubbles by acting as an AIL. (Air In-Line sensor)

Flow Sensor Assemblies

Complex assemblies are designed and developed using 3D solid modelling software and FEA software for fast and accurate detailed designs. FEA software is used to model the complicated acoustic properties of the combination of housing, tubing and liquids enabling a design to be prototyped accurately more quickly than conventional means.

Sensor performance can be tailored to individual customers needs. All sensors can be tested in our dedicated lab for performance and characterisation purposes.
