Piezo Material For Medical Devices

Morgan Electro Ceramics announces the release of our new piezoceramic material, PZT-5K, for use in medical sensors and low power medical devices.

The new material is specifically formulated with high coupling values and high dielectric properties and is well suited for thin and small parts. Applications include sensors for catheters, blood pressure, auditory sounds, vascular flow, and medical imaging.

The material is available in thicknesses from .003" to .500" and a wide range of areas. Electrodes available are silver, nickel, and gold plating for wire bonding.
