MTC ElectroCeramics provides high performance piezoelectric ceramics for an extensive range of household applications, from domestic products to gas and electrical appliances and kitchen and bathroom equipment. We help our customers to develop innovative, durable, competitive bespoke products to meet their needs.
Our piezoelectric ceramic is used extensively in piezo igniters which give high voltage sparks in gas appliances. We also supply spark tips, electronic igniters and electrodes and piezo bimorphs for use in valve actuators.
In addition, the material is used widely in utilities metering in the home in ultrasonic sensors and transducers that measure the flow of gas and water including SMART meters. It is further used in atomisers, ultrasonic toothbrushes and ultrasonic tools.
