Customer Service Administrator
The Role – Principal Objectives:
• Ensuring new orders are dealt with promptly and in accordance with the established contract review procedures.
• Ensuring new enquiries are dealt with promptly and in accordance with the established contract review procedures.
• Negotiating prices and terms and conditions with customers.
• Providing information on delivery status of customer orders, directly to customers or our export sales offices.
• Answering incoming calls and directing these as appropriate.
• Assisting Management team with other administrative duties as necessary.
• Preparing and reviewing marketing material.
The Person – Key Requirements:
Previous Experience:
• Previous experience within a sales office environment essential.
• Good IT skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing company desirable.
Qualifications:
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
• GCSE standard (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
• Foreign language abilities are desirable but not essential (German / French / Italian)
Personality:
• Good personal organisation.
• Attention to detail.
• Self motivated with ability to work effectively without direct supervision.
• Must be able to operate to an excellent standard within a team-based environment.
